Cyclone UTV Cab heaters produce more heat quicker - Polaris Rzr, General, Ranger and more

Cyclone UTV cab heaters produce more heat faster - Here is how

Traditional UTV cab heaters pull heat from the engine coolant. There are two issues with this. Modern day engines are designed to stay cool. The heat is pulled off a radiator in which the coolant runs through. The temperature of the engine and coolant is limited by the thermostat, typically 180 - 200 degrees. This limits the heat that can get pulled from the coolant. The outside temperature affects this dramatically as the colder it is outside the longer it takes to get the heat needed from the coolant. Overall heat provided to the cab is lower and takes longer in these times. Second the installation traditional coolant style heaters tends to be more invasive and known to be very time consuming in the upward of many hours.

Our concept is not new, being used by VW in the past for many years as well as many open prop airplanes in the sky today. That concept is to pull ambient heat from the exhaust manifold and turbo on equipped models. The manifold just after it comes out of the engine is where it is its hottest, in the upward temp of 600 to 800+ degrees. The result and benefit of pulling heat from this area is more heat and quicker heat. Our heaters install in just a few minutes with only a screw driver needed.
